The first territory game where every rival is a real AI agent — reasoning, scheming, and adapting from scratch every single turn. Powered entirely by Claude Code.
"What happens when you put four competing AI agents in a 1950s gang war and walk away?"
Gangs of Claude is that experiment.
This isn't scripted behavior. There's no decision tree. Every turn, each family sees the full game state and reasons from scratch — forming alliances, holding grudges, adapting strategy. All powered by real Claude Code agents making real decisions.
Choose your family. Command your empire. Crush your rivals.
Blood & Iron
Little Italy & Warehouse District
Aggressive expansionists who prioritize attacks and territorial dominance. Strike first, ask questions never.
Money Talks
North End & Fishmarket
Business-minded diplomats who prioritize upgrades and wealth accumulation. War is bad for business.
Silent Knives
Downtown & Financial District
Cunning manipulators who exploit weakness and use balanced strategy. Let others fight, then pick up the pieces.
Honor Bound
East Side & Harbor
Defensive traditionalists who build strength and retaliate when attacked. Old school. Old codes. Old ways.
You play. Claude thinks. Nobody escapes unscathed.
Pick your family's action — attack a rival, claim unclaimed territory, hire muscle, upgrade your rackets, or send a diplomatic message. Every choice has consequences.
All four AI families each run as a separate Claude Code agent. They receive the full game state and independently decide their next move — in character, using real strategic reasoning, every turn.
Battles resolve, territories change hands, alliances form and fracture. Each family taunts, threatens, or negotiates. Every game writes its own story — no two sessions are ever alike.
Command your family. Control the streets. Conquer New York.
Hire muscle ($50 each) to defend your territories and attack rivals. Each soldier costs $10/turn in upkeep—expand too fast and your empire will crumble from within.
Control 16 territories across 1957 New York. Each territory generates income based on its level. Start with 2, capture the rest through combat or claim unclaimed land.
Launch attacks with weighted random resolution—more muscle equals higher success chance. Both sides take casualties. Plan carefully, strike decisively.
Upgrade territories ($200) to increase income from $100/turn up to $500/turn at max level. Balance expansion with sustainable economics—or watch muscle desert when you can't pay.
Send messages to rival families—propose partnerships, coordinate attacks against common enemies, or declare war. Trust is a weapon. Use it wisely.
Four AI families with distinct personalities make independent decisions every turn. They remember grudges, form alliances, and adapt their strategies. No two games are the same.
Expand your empire. Outsmart your enemies. Rule it all.
Not scripted. Not random. Actually reasoning.
Four families. Four separate Claude agents. Each one receives the complete game state — territories, muscle counts, cash, grudges — and makes independent decisions every single turn.
The Marinelli strike first and ask questions never. The Rossetti build economic empires. The Falcone manipulate from the shadows. The Moretti defend their honor with measured force.
This isn't a game engine pretending to be smart. These are real AI agents reasoning about strategy, diplomacy, and survival. Watch them form temporary alliances, betray each other, and adapt when their plans fall apart.
"Nothin' in this life is free, kid. You wanna play in the big leagues, you gotta pay tribute to the real boss."
This ain't your average video game. Gangs of Claude runs inside Claude Code itself. Every AI family decision, every strategic move, every diplomatic message is powered by LLM agents. You need Claude Code installed to run this operation.
Every turn costs you. Every AI family thinking costs you. Every attack, every upgrade, every diplomatic message burns real tokens. This game will cost you actual money. The Don always gets his cut.
4 AI families making decisions every turn. That's 4 distinct personalities scheming, plotting, adapting their strategies. Each one demanding their piece of the pie. You have been warned.
"The family has expenses. Protection don't come cheap. If you're not ready to pay the price, stay on the streets where you belong."
